I love this!I'm in the course with you and I agree, coming to NYC from Wash. Dc has made me question my identity and the many times I have limited my thinking, limiting myself to how I believe people percieve me because I am black. Now that I have branched out I see that Yes, I am black, but I have nothing to worry about because I will ALWAYS be that way. Plus it is always fascinating to me how music unites people and now I sing my Erykah Badu songs with my white friends..LOUD and Proud. Continue doing what your doing. I have been thoroughly inspired and you have my full support.
